This workshop is based on Arbinger's international bestselling book
"The Outward Mindset"
Results are driven by strategically aligned behaviors, which is why organizations devote so much time and so many resources trying to encourage beneficial behaviors in their employees. However, behavior itself is driven by something else – by the underlying mindset in the organization.
Attempts to improve behavior alone can produce marginal improvements, but breakthrough results require a change in mindset. This is Arbinger’s work; we change mindset. Specifically, we help individuals, teams, and organizations to change from inward mindset orientations to outward mindset orientations.
Inward Mindset:
People focus on themselves, their objectives and measure themselves by what they accomplish.
Outward Mindset:
People work to help others be successful – customers, peers, managers and subordinates. They measure their success by what others are able to accomplish as a result of their efforts.
