Educational institutions put in much effort to nurture the right values in students hoping for a more diverse and inclusive future world that invites a stronger sense of belonging. While our current efforts to address equity, diversity and inclusivity focus on what we can see: our behaviours, structures, quotas, etc., the marginalizing and discriminatory behaviours we witness and are trying to eradicate are behavioural manifestations of a deeper issue—mindset. 

If our change efforts do not address a change in mindset—the fundamental way we see and regard others—nothing will change. 

In this 60 min interactive session, educators will get a glimpse of Arbinger’s Outward Inclusion workshop and experience a refreshing way to lead and nurture inclusivity in their institutions by “calling people in” rather than “calling people out”!
